ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Tuesday, November 10, 2009 - Abu Dhabi’s Ahmed Al Hameli makes his World Class 1 debut in home waters as he lines up in the Abu Dhabi GP, the penultimate round of the 2009 World Class 1 Series.
Ahmed, who is lying in 7th place in the 2009 World F1 Series, is no stranger to offshore racing having taken part in X Cats, Class 3 – 6 litre and the local Wooden Boat championship. Ahmed will be driving a Mercury V8 powered catamaran CAM alongside Italian throttleman Giovanni Carpitella.
