Saint Petersburg-Russia-7 August, 2009- The day of the technical scrutineering for the Gp of Russia. This GP is the 3th leg of the UIM F1 Powerboat World Championships 2009. Saint Petersburg was founded by Tsar Peter I of Russia on 27 May, 1703, it was the capital of the Russian Empire for more than two hundred years. It is Russia's second largest city after Moscow with 4.6 million inhabitants, and over 6 million people live in its vicinity.
